CARBONDALE — Award winning author Jeff Biggers will present his take on progressive activism, linking Buckminster Fuller, coal mines and opposition against fracking in the process.
Biggers, given the 2010 Delta Award for Literature in Southern Illinois, will present “The Other Southern Illinois: How Our Region Changed the U.S. – And Why We Must Defend It” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at SIU Morris Library’s Guyon Auditorium.
